Incluyen parte de la carta del presidente Juárez al Archiduque el 15 de octubre de 1864, notas tomadas del periódico local El Republicano, una editorial sobre El batallón de Patriotas de Chihuahua y parte de un texto, La ciudad de Chihuahua en lucha contra la intervención francesa y el imperio de Maximiliano.
